The Order of the Sacred Grove is a Modern American Witchcraft Tradition established in 1995 in the northern California Bay area. We are dedicated to the practice of the old religion and consists of independent but collaborative covens or groves within the larger order. We honor the Gods and Goddesses in all of their forms. |
We meet to celebrate the Esbat of the Full Moon and the Sabbat of the wheel of the year. Some we celebrate within our individual covens or grove and some we celebrate with the order as a whole. Our individual groves also gather to study and practice magic, intuitive knowing, healing arts, divination, and nature crafts. |
We are an initiatory tradition, and as part of the OSG traditions, we offer training for those who wish to become Priestesses and Priests of the old religion. The apprenticeship program follows a traditional year-and-a-day cycle and is a mixture of solitary work and group meetings. |
